About the position
The Live-In Caregiver position at FCP Live-In LLC is designed for certified nursing assistants (CNA), home health aides (HHA), or personal care assistants (PCA) who are passionate about providing care to the elderly in a home setting. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Perform personal care activities including personal hygiene, bathing, and dressing.
- Assist with ambulation and prescribed range of motion exercises.
- Oversee medication and provide reminders.
- Engage in companionship and social activities with clients.
- Prepare meals and snacks for clients.
- Shop for groceries and household items, and run errands.
- Transport clients to appointments and assist with homemaking activities.
- Provide specialized care for clients with Dementia/Alzheimer's and hospice care.
Requirements
- Certified CNA, HHA, or PCA with experience working with the elderly.
- Successful clearance of health screens as required by state regulations.
- Successful clearance of state, federal, and company background and reference checks.
- Flexible availability and willingness to work throughout New England.
