About the position
The Live-in Caregiver position at Visiting Angels involves providing essential non-medical home care services to seniors in a one-on-one environment. Caregivers will work closely with clients, ensuring their comfort and safety while assisting with daily activities and personal care. This role offers flexible shift options and emphasizes a supportive work environment with organized leadership.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical support to clients for two to five nights a week.
- Manage medication reminders and assist with light housekeeping.
- Conduct grocery shopping and meal preparation for clients.
- Assist clients with personal errands and provide transportation to appointments.
- Offer personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Oversee client mobility by assisting with walking and transfers.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License and proof of current auto insurance.
- Must be 18 years or older with at least 1 year of senior care experience.
- Ability to pass state/nationwide background check, state fingerprinting, and drug screen.
