An Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) family in Southampton, NY is seeking an experienced Domestic Couple to maintain their private estate. The ideal couple will have at least 10 years of experience working as a Domestic Couple, including at least two seasons in the Hamptons. Experience with UHNW employers is essential. This position requires a versatile skill set, as the couple will be responsible for various tasks that ensure the smooth operation of the estate. The couple will work closely with the family and other staff members to create a welcoming and well-maintained environment. The role demands a high level of discretion and confidentiality, as the couple will be privy to the family's private life and affairs. Flexibility with work hours is crucial, as the couple may be required to work weekends and holidays depending on the family's schedule. The compensation for this position is competitive, with a salary of $200,000, along with health insurance and a 401K plan. Responsibilities
- Help prepare and cook meals as needed, filling in for the chef on his days off for all meals (no formal culinary education required).
- Manage inventory of perishable food, pantry items, medicine supplies, toiletries, dry goods, and Mrs.' wardrobe.
- Maintain inventory of beverages, food, and supplies on the boat.
- Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Perform light repairs and maintenance on the property.
- Oversee interior and exterior property maintenance.
- Coordinate with vendors for intricate repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain the boat and dock, ensuring they are in excellent condition.
- Run errands as needed and provide driving services for the principals when required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Domestic Couple.
- At least two seasons of experience working in the Hamptons.
- Prior experience working for UHNW or billionaire employers is essential.
- Strong cooking skills, particularly for breakfast and casual meals.
- Excellent organizational and inventory management skills.
- Ability to perform light repairs and oversee maintenance tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with vendors and coordinating with other staff.
