About the position
Seniornest Homecare is seeking dedicated Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) and Certified Nurses Assistants (CNA) to join our expanding team in Bergen and Passaic Counties. This role involves providing essential care to clients, ensuring their health and well-being while following care plans and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs). Our organization, led by a Registered Nurse with 35 years of experience, values the hard work of caregivers and offers a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients in accordance with their care plans.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition.
Requirements
- Current NJ CHHA or CNA license in good standing.
- Driver's License and own transportation.
- 6 months of experience in a similar role.
- PPD test less than 12 months old.
- Ability to follow care plans and complete ADLs.
