About the position
The position is for a full-time live-in housekeeper for a mature couple in Camden, Delaware. The role involves managing all housekeeping duties for a spacious home, ensuring cleanliness and organization while providing occasional support to the principals. The housekeeper will have a private living space and will work primarily Monday through Friday, with some flexibility in scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Perform all housekeeping duties for a 5000 sq ft home, including deep cleaning and daily tidying.
- Handle laundry tasks.
- Run local errands such as dropping off dry-cleaning, sending packages, or picking up prescriptions.
- Grocery shopping as needed.
- Occasional cooking, such as making a sandwich if the female principal is not home.
- Provide pet care, including walking a friendly dog.
Requirements
- Hard worker, reliable, and consistent.
- Driver's license and clean driving record.
- Willingness to get annual Flu and Covid vaccines due to the male principal's medical condition.
- Legal to work in the US.
