About the position
The Housekeeper position involves supporting a private couple in the daily upkeep of their home and caring for their two poodles. The ideal candidate will have a hospitality-oriented mindset and a proactive attitude, ensuring a clean and organized living environment while also providing pet care.
Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of general housekeeping and deep cleaning of the residence, including bedrooms and bathrooms.
- Vacuum, dust, sanitize, and manage proper garbage disposal.
- Make beds and organize bedrooms.
- Prepare simple meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
- Assist with daily upkeep and light housekeeping, including cleaning, tidying, and organizing.
- Iron and organize clothes, placing them in proper closets or storage based on the season.
- Oversee organizing projects in the residence and create smart storage solutions for the family.
- Assist with travel packing and unpacking.
- Provide pet care, including walking and feeding the two dogs.
- Assist with errands as needed.
- Manage household supplies and notify the appropriate person when items need replenishing.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years related private home experience.
- Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must have a strong command of the English language.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Flexibility with hours and scheduling.
