About the position

We are seeking a dedicated live-in nanny to provide evening and occasional overnight care for our children. The ideal candidate will have experience with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety, education, and overall well-being. This role includes engaging children in age-appropriate activities, maintaining a clean environment, and potentially traveling with the family during trips.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and loving care to children, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Engage in educational activities that promote learning and development.
• Clean and do laundry as needed.
• Plan and implement activities for toddlers and preschoolers that stimulate creativity and learning.
• Maintain a clean environment by tidying up play areas and preparing meals as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
• Support the emotional and social development of children through positive reinforcement and guidance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in caregiving, particularly with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and educational activities.
• Ability to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both children and parents.
• Organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and order in the childcare space.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of nannying experience (Preferred)
