About the position

The Live Sports B2B Content Marketer will develop strategies and narratives for customer-facing content related to Amazon's key sports programs, including Thursday Night Football, the NBA, and NASCAR. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to create impactful marketing content that promotes Amazon's global live sports offerings. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven insights to craft compelling messaging and ensure alignment across teams, while also focusing on enhancing the customer experience through innovative storytelling and brand positioning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute content strategies for Amazon's live sports programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create cohesive marketing assets.
  • Analyze metrics to inform data-driven content strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Lead the development of sales presentations, pitch decks, and other customer-facing materials.
  • Identify new narratives in response to marketplace changes.
  • Regularly update marketing materials and remove roadblocks to execution.
  • Drive internal communications and focus on customer experience.
  • Manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities effectively.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of B2B content and/or marketing experience.
  • Deep live sports industry experience within media organizations.
  • Experience in brand positioning and storytelling.
  • Extensive background in deck and presentation building.
  • Strong familiarity with PowerPoint; Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience creating engaging video content.
  • Analytical mindset using data and metrics to measure impact.
  • Proven ability to influence others and manage complex projects.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product and marketing teams.
  • Experience leading creative development from concept to delivery.
  • Experience managing creative teams and external agencies.
  • Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote.
