The Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) position at Headway offers licensed mental health professionals the opportunity to launch or grow their private practice with the support of a comprehensive platform. Headway assists clinicians by managing insurance credentialing, billing, and administrative tasks, allowing them to focus on providing care. This role provides flexibility in scheduling and the option to conduct sessions either in-person or via telehealth, catering to the needs of both clinicians and their patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychotherapy sessions with patients.
• Provide and oversee medication management.
• Accept insurance by being credentialed with major networks.
• Handle billing and administrative paperwork through Headway.
• Maintain a flexible schedule by deciding the number of clients to see.
• Grow caseload through marketing support and patient referrals.
• Provide customized support to streamline care for patients.

Requirements

• Must be a fully-licensed mental health counselor at a Master's level or above.
• Valid NPI number is required.
• Malpractice insurance is necessary.
