About the position

The Radiologic Technologist PRN position at CareNow, part of HCA Healthcare, is designed for a Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) who is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves performing radiology procedures, maintaining equipment, and assisting with general patient care in a fast-paced urgent care environment. The position offers flexibility in scheduling and is part of a supportive team focused on patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
• Conduct quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.
• Perform drug screens, urinalysis, and other in-house lab tests, including processing specimens for reference laboratories.
• Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.
• Ensure occupational client's preference card is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
• Assist with general patient care when needed.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences.
• Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in state of residency.
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
• Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
• Office Laboratory Assistant License if required by the state.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
