About The Position

The LMS Administrator and Training Facilitator at NYISO is responsible for implementing and managing the Learning Management System (LMS) while facilitating professional development initiatives across the organization. This role combines technical expertise with a commitment to employee growth, ensuring effective delivery of learning programs and a supportive training environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Organizational Development, Adult Learning Theory, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as an LMS administrator or in a similar position.
  • Coursework and/or certifications relating to learning management system administration preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and profile the education and development needs of NYISO employees using various data sources.
  • Identify and research training resources to support business initiatives and the changing NYISO culture.
  • Design and deliver training programs to meet the needs of a growing organization.
  • Coordinate the utilization of internal and external resources for training.
  • Design training content for programs such as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Job Rotation, and Mentoring programs.
  • Administer course evaluations and incorporate feedback from participants.
  • Provide technical leadership in the support of the LMS.
  • Responsible for the design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of LMS content and resources.
  • Interface with multiple departments to support organizational learning needs.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for process and quality improvements in LMS usage.
  • Maintain knowledge of current technology related to LMS software and systems.
  • Write and maintain technical procedures and policy documentation.
  • Analyze data and recommend solutions for utilizing the LMS to meet organizational objectives.
  • Create and update resources to train and support learners on LMS technology.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for technical or data-related issues in PowerBi dashboard.
  • Create and manage ad-hoc reports in the LMS.
