About the position

The LMS Administrator role at Actalent involves managing and enhancing the Learning Management System (LMS) to improve the learning experience for users. This position requires strong technical and communication skills, as well as a customer service orientation, to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and support the LMS's functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Configuring courses and generating reports in the LMS.
  • Developing certifications and designing learning paths and curricula.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance the learning experience.
  • Creating and updating courses in the LMS and registering learners.
  • Maintaining courses throughout their lifecycle, including updates and archiving.
  • Creating and designing learning materials for users.
  • Managing LMS user access and monitoring system users.
  • Creating and maintaining job aids, templates, and documents for LMS users.
  • Creating and managing LMS reports for various stakeholder groups.
  • Troubleshooting issues in the LMS and escalating as necessary.
  • Supporting LMS feature releases and updates.
  • Educating and supporting people managers in using the Manager Functionality in the LMS.
  • Managing the team inbox to respond to customer inquiries.
  • Managing pre and post-class communications.
  • Recording class attendance and course completions in the LMS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or practical experience in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of Learning Management System Administration experience.
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline or e-learning authoring tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to balance competing priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in data reconciliation and data entry.
  • Proactive team member with a passion for learning and sharing best practices.
