About the position

This hybrid position involves operational responsibilities for both ticketed events such as concerts and shows as well as special events, both private and corporate. The role is crucial in managing aspects of facility operations and maintenance, ensuring that all events run smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for front of house operations, preventive maintenance, third-party contracting, staffing, and ongoing venue set-up and tear-down. This position requires a proactive approach to managing the venue and ensuring compliance with all operational policies and procedures. In this role, you will recruit, hire, train, and supervise part-time staff across multiple departments, including Security, Maintenance, Cleaning, and Usher/Ticket Taker. You will maintain and monitor records of all incident reports, investigate pending cases, and attend arbitration hearings when necessary. Ensuring the optimum operating condition of all facility equipment, such as traffic control and crowd control devices, is also a key responsibility. You will implement and execute all Live Nation policies, procedures, and programs, ensuring that company standards are maintained. Additionally, you will create and implement effective recruiting programs for seasonal event staff, manage event staff onboarding and training, and coordinate with subcontractors and third-party vendors to ensure safe and successful events. This position also involves providing administrative support to the Special Events Sales Team, assisting with internal and external correspondence, and coordinating all aspects of operational set-up and breakdown of events. You will act as a liaison between clients and Live Nation team members throughout events, ensuring a seamless experience for all involved. The role requires a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to specific venue standards, and may require working varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the venue.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven leader with strong management and communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of venue operations and facility management.
  • Experience dealing with police and public officials.
  • Demonstrated experience managing staff, ideally in Security, Ticket Takers, and Ushers.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience using Workday or timekeeping systems is a plus.
