About the position

The Marketing Director at Live Nation Concerts will oversee marketing strategies for destination events, self-produced concert experiences, and boutique festival properties. This role is crucial for driving sales growth and enhancing brand excellence through effective marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, along with a proven track record in event marketing and digital strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual marketing strategies to drive lead generation and increase sales conversion.
  • Analyze market performance and trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers and artist partners.
  • Develop and refine business-to-business sales materials to fit overall brand image.
  • Set clear marketing goals and effectively communicate them within the team and externally.
  • Manage marketing department employees and external marketing vendors.
  • Act as the main point of contact with artist partners on all marketing-related tasks.
  • Drive revenue growth by implementing integrated marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Create and maintain a cohesive look and feel for each event.
  • Lead marketing efforts for event activations, announcements, and on-sales.
  • Define and oversee the online presence of the company and all event properties.
  • Create and manage approved marketing budget including tracking all associated spending.
  • Work closely with the operations team and individual department heads.
  • Collaborate with company and artist PR partners to ensure events are properly represented online.
  • Seek and integrate innovative tools and technologies to elevate marketing efforts.
  • Manage on-site guest communication efforts during events.
  • Oversee on-site execution of Marketing, PR, Photo, Video, Social Media, Web, etc.
  • Project manage on-site media partners to ensure alignment with event goals.
  • Manage attending media to ensure both internal Company and event needs are met.
  • Collaborate with Guest Services Team to maintain clear and effective guest communication.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing and/or brand management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Technical proficiency in copywriting, content creation, social media marketing, SEO, public relations, email marketing, PPC advertising, and automation.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics and CRM systems.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and customer journey optimization.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • A business qualification - BSc/BA/MSc in business management, marketing, advertising, or related field.
  • Ability to manage and communicate deadlines, roadblocks, and escalations.
  • Ability to provide leadership, prioritize, organize, motivate, problem-solve, and delegate.
  • Willingness to adopt new project management tools and technological tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Graphic design skills are a plus.
