About the position

The Production Intern at Live Nation will support the Director of Production and the Production Department in a hands-on role within a fast-paced live entertainment environment. This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in production management, communication, and organizational skills while contributing to the success of live events.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a positive and creative environment for the Production Department.
• Facilitate proper interdepartmental communication and organization.
• Assist and support all production department personnel with job functions as needed.
• Maintain regular communications with the Director of Production.
• Attend production meetings as outlined by the Director of Production.
• Work with the department in scheduling runners and runner vehicles.
• Assist with expense and cost management of the Production Department and Shows.
• Contribute to the Advance, Costing, and Producing of shows.
• Gain an in-depth knowledge of all CBA's (collective bargaining agreements) in the region.
• Be onsite for engagements as necessary to assist the Production Department as required.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Production Department.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University, preferably in a related field.
• Junior or Senior standing in college.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Creative thinker and problem solver.
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
• Strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.
• Previous experience preferred (school, internship, or professional).
• Ability to manage time in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines.
