About the position

The Production Manager at Live Nation is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of concerts and events at various venues. This role involves coordinating with tour productions, managing on-site logistics, and ensuring that all technical requirements are met for successful event execution. The Production Manager acts as a liaison between artists, venue staff, and contractors, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between tour/private production and venues.
• Advance and obtain presale technical information, including production needs and rider requirements.
• Interface with local contractors and venue production teams for show requirements.
• Manage day-of-show logistics from load-in to load-out, focusing on customer service and cost containment.
• Handle show settlement and artist/vendor payments for events.
• Represent Live Nation at scheduled shows for production and settlement responsibilities.
• Coordinate and manage approved subcontractors and third-party vendors.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Production Manager, promoter representative, or event coordinator.
• General knowledge of venue operations preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with a hands-on style and ability to thrive under pressure.
• Proficiency in Windows applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent references.

Nice-to-haves
