About the position

This position offers a training opportunity for Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) to transition into Medical Assistants through a combination of school-based and on-the-job training. The program lasts between 4 to 7 months, during which participants will work full-time while completing their training after hours. Lamprey Health Care will cover the tuition costs, and candidates must commit to a minimum of two years of employment upon successful completion of the program.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of provider patient schedule and preparation of daily team activities.
  • Conduct pre and post procedure vitals as required.
  • Stock exam/treatment rooms and report supply shortages.
  • Assist with answering telephones, taking messages, and scheduling appointments.
  • Use electronic health records to document clinical procedures in accordance with standards.
  • Demonstrate professional skills through proper communication and dress.

Requirements
