About The Position
PARR is the total source for homebuilding supplies, solutions, and services. We focus on supplying building materials and solutions to professional home builders of all sizes including custom builders, large production builders, and multifamily builders. Our customers and community members know that they can rely on us for Legendary Service and quality products. The Load Checker safely and efficiently performs the 'checking of loads' for all orders, including both deliveries and large will call orders. Seeks out 100% accuracy of properly tagged orders that have the correct type and size of material, quantity of products, proper sequence of materials in load, (i.e. pressure treated on top, not bottom of underfloor load, sheeting on bottom, not top of framing load), along with goods being sellable and damage free. This position is essential in larger yards to help ensure that all loads are 'on time and in full.' To find errors of any kind while the trucks are in the yard saves countless hours of fixing problems and plays a large role in fulfilling PARR's mission of Legendary Service Through Teamwork. This position reports directly to the Yard Manager and interacts daily with Load Builders, Receiving Coordinators, Regional Yard Supervisor, Customer Service Employees, and Drivers.
