About the position

The Load Map Assistant at Structural Component Systems, Inc. is a full-time administrative role focused on supporting the day-to-day operations of the plant. This position involves creating load maps for wall trailers, assisting in warehouse operations, and utilizing software tools like SketchUp and Bistrack. The role is essential for ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities

• Create load maps for wall trailers prior to production.
• Serve as a backup to the warehouse assistant position.
• Assist with SketchUp in building roof loads.
• Enter data and utilize Microsoft Office suite software.
• Complete map trailers for floors and walls and paperwork for loaders.
• Ensure all products are listed for the load and emailed to the production scheduling office assistant.
• Utilize Bistrack to determine work that is yet to be scheduled for production.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Knowledge of SketchUp and Bistrack software preferred but not required.
• Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge.
• Ability to manage data and filing.
• Self-motivated with initiative to carry out tasks.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Effective organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines, prioritize tasks, and multi-task.
• Must be at least 18 years old and speak fluent English.
• High School Diploma preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with building component industry software.
