About the position
The Loader position at Cornerstone Building Brands involves operating forklifts to facilitate the staging, loading, and material handling of steel fabrication products for shipment. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork, ensuring that all products are scanned and loaded correctly while adhering to company standards.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate staging, loading, and material handling for steel fabrication products.
- Ensure safety of self and fellow workers during loading and unloading processes.
- Scan all products loaded into trucks 100%.
- Report any safety or quality concerns to the Supervisor or Plant Manager immediately.
- Unload and load trucks and trailers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- A minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in manufacturing or a comparable work environment.
- A minimum of one (1) year of forklift operation experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Overhead crane experience is a plus.
- Comfort and familiarity with power hand tools.
