Requirements

• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes a front end loader to maintain adequate supply of silage/roughage in box/pit for daily feed production.
• Transports silage from silage pit to mill using a front end loader.
• Stockpiles hulls/silage to ensure uninterrupted feed production.
• Completes servicing requirements for equipment as specified by the manager, including fueling, checking fluid levels, and cleaning.
• Cleans the area around the roughage box by shoveling, sweeping, or blowing spilled roughage.
• Complies with all applicable safety rules and policies.
