About the position

The Loan Analyst position at the Farm Service Agency involves performing analysis, evaluation, and advisory assignments to support the effective delivery of loan making and servicing activities. The role includes assisting in the formulation and implementation of farm loan programs, policies, and procedures within the assigned farm loan area, while collaborating with various stakeholders including the Farm Loan Chief and County Offices.

Responsibilities

• Provides support and assistance to the Farm Loan Chief and Farm Loan Specialists.
• Collaborates with Farm Loan Officers and loan staff under the direction of the District Director and Farm Loan Manager.
• Performs analysis, evaluation, and advisory assignments related to loan making and servicing activities.
• Assists in the formulation and implementation of farm loan programs, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen or US National.
• Males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt.
• Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
• Successful completion of one year probationary period, unless previously served.
• Direct Deposit required for federal payments.
