About the position

The Loan IQ Application Support Analyst will primarily support the Loan IQ application, ensuring its smooth operation and addressing any issues that arise. This role involves proactive monitoring of the production environment, incident management, and troubleshooting application problems. The analyst will also be responsible for maintaining documentation and supporting application releases and upgrades, while collaborating with various teams to ensure continuity and quality in service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor and manage the production environment.
  • Responsible for incident management and conducting proper problem follow-up.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application problems including job failures and feed management.
  • Maintain/Create documentation of support policies and procedures.
  • Understand the business processes supported by the system.
  • Support application releases, implementations, upgrades, and changes in the environment.
  • Ensure continuity and quality by owning the resolution of issues across platforms.
  • Track progress and escalate as appropriate unless a resolution is reached.
  • Maintain a knowledge base of known defects and issues, processes, techniques, etc.
  • Participate in production support rotation, responding to and resolving production problems.
  • Work during weekends or after-hours to support critical business initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Experience in application support roles, particularly with Loan IQ or similar applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve application issues effectively.
  • Experience with incident management processes.
  • Ability to create and maintain documentation for support policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of business processes related to the supported application.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with application deployments and infrastructure changes.
  • Familiarity with disaster recovery testing processes.
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and AI in talent management.
