About the position

The Loan Officer Associate position at Lennar is designed for individuals looking to develop their skills and knowledge in the mortgage industry, with the goal of becoming a Loan Officer in the future. This role involves participating in training programs, assisting Loan Officers, and gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of the lending process. Responsibilities

• Participate in formal training programs covering various aspects of lending.
• Train with manager on mortgage rate sheets to learn to accurately price and lock loans.
• Review daily/weekly/monthly reports to understand the mortgage process from application to closing.
• Complete testing for mortgage licensing and maintain up-to-date knowledge of RESPA.
• Update loan applications with missing data and maintain notes in the Loan Origination System.
• Participate in builder and realtor functions to develop and maintain relationships.
• Ensure borrowers can easily reach out and receive prompt responses through various channels.
• Assist processors and closers in procuring loan documents from borrowers and other entities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BA or BS preferred
• Mortgage or banking experience (preferred)
• Experience in articulating product or service features, benefits, and value
• A genuine passion for customer satisfaction
• Exceptional organizational abilities and keen attention to detail
• Proficient in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
