About the position

This internship offers students the chance to partner with leading agricultural lenders, enhancing their skills in financial analysis, sales, business development, and customer relationship management. Interns will work closely with mentors to gain insights into the company and its various business areas, while also learning to market and sell financial products to rural America.

Responsibilities

• Completing an intern development guide to gain industry knowledge about the Farm Credit System and AgSouth's products and services.
• Partnering with numerous Association employees on various assignments to expand knowledge of business development, financial analysis, and customer relationship management.
• Completing and presenting an assigned project to the executive management team at the conclusion of the internship.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Agribusiness, Agriculture or related field.
• Minimum completion of sophomore year of coursework.
• Strong organizational and technology skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to participate in and lead teammates to successful achievement of project objectives.
• Ability to communicate (oral and written).
• Excellent interpersonal skills; able to maintain good rapport with team members and professionalism with customers.

Benefits
