About the position

As a Loan Officer at Veterans United Home Loans, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of borrowers by delivering exceptional customer service throughout the homebuying journey. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with clients to understand their homebuying needs and to collaborate with the loan team to ensure a seamless loan experience. This position requires a proactive approach, as you will be expected to communicate regularly with clients regarding their loan status, promptly addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have via email and phone. In addition to client communication, you will analyze borrowers' information to assess the feasibility of pre-approving and obtaining loans. This involves interviewing borrowers to gather and verify necessary information and documentation. You will also manage internal processes to ensure timely loan processing and resolve any application issues that may arise. Your role will include educating borrowers about the loan process and available product/service alternatives, ensuring they are well-informed and comfortable with their options. Staying knowledgeable about company and industry guidelines and processes is essential, as is the ability to analyze and manage numbers effectively to increase efficiencies and meet company goals. You will also be responsible for managing the company's social media presence, which is an important aspect of building rapport and relationships with potential clients. Responsibilities

  • Communicate loan status regularly with clients, responding promptly to inquiries and concerns via email and phone.
