About the position

Bay Equity is seeking a Loan Officer to join their team in Oklahoma City, OK. This full-time position involves originating loans and providing exceptional customer service while adhering to state and federal regulations. The Loan Officer will leverage a variety of marketing strategies to build relationships with clients and real estate professionals, ensuring a successful lending process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business in compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Market to clients through various sales efforts, including creating relationships with real estate agents and attending industry meetings.
• Field inbound loan inquiries and originate loans.
• Work with Loan Coordinator and processing to close loans.

Requirements

• NMLS licensed with 2 years of experience.
• Complete understanding of current mortgage laws, guidelines, loan programs, and trends.
• Ability to assist customers in determining the best mortgage type for their needs.
• Ability to negotiate terms and conditions of loans with clients.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and consulting skills.
• Competent in performing mathematical and analytical tasks.
• Ability to speak and present confidently in front of groups.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED required; AA or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
