About the position

The Loan Officer position at Paramount Residential Mortgage Group (PRMG) is designed for individuals who are passionate about helping clients navigate the mortgage process. This role emphasizes the importance of organization, communication, and customer service, ensuring that clients receive tailored mortgage solutions. The Loan Officer will work primarily outside of the office, engaging with clients to discuss their home loan options and guiding them through the application process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to satisfy customer needs through a full array of mortgage products and services.
• Ensure uninterrupted flow of business using judgment and discretion.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers, acting as a liaison between customers and internal departments.
• Verify, compile, and input application information for mortgage loans.
• Discuss and advise clients on their home loan options.
• Review residential loan application files to ensure completeness and compliance with standards.
• Inform supervisors of discrepancies in title or survey.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current, valid NMLS license or appointment in good standing.
• Applicable state licensing is required.
• Two to five years of experience in mortgage origination is preferred.
• Must actively fund more than 2 loans/month, complete Xinnix Training for Loan Origination, or have an assigned origination mentor who funds more than 2 loans/month.
