About the position

We are seeking a passionate Loan Officer who is committed to bringing homeownership to life. This full-time, outside sales position is pivotal in developing relationships for new business sources, both internally and externally. The Loan Officer will meet with prospective customers, brokers, and referral sources at homebuilding communities or other convenient locations to collect and analyze customer financial information. They will advise customers on the risks and benefits of various mortgage products and assist them in selecting the appropriate loan program within the Lennar Mortgage roadmap. The role involves obtaining loan applications from customers and working closely with them to achieve loan approval. The Loan Officer will support the company’s growth through outside sales activities and lead generation, which includes regular travel to various communities, realtors' offices, and other appropriate locations to solicit new business and leads from home builders. Conducting First Time Homebuyer Seminars in communities is also a key responsibility, aimed at developing leads and building relationships with New Home Consultants and prospective/current customers. In addition to these responsibilities, the Loan Officer will review leads daily, contact prospective customers via telephone and email, and set up in-person or virtual meetings. They will originate and prepare new loans in accordance with the Loan Officer agreement, ensuring all loans meet the guidelines of the Products and Policies manual. The Loan Officer will also advise customers regarding various mortgage loan products based on their individual needs, review interest rates, and lock loans with borrowers in accordance with the Secondary Marketing Pricing and Rate Lock Policies and Procedures manual. Maintaining reports and notes within the origination computer system regarding prospects and customers is essential to ensure a complete exchange of information regarding loan applications, loan status, and other relevant details.

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree (preferred).
  • At least three years of Loan Originating experience.
  • Builder experience (preferred).
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, including evening and weekend work.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • NMLS License required, or willing to obtain, in Georgia & South Carolina.
