About the position

Paramount Residential Mortgage Group (PRMG) is seeking a Loan Officer who is dedicated to helping clients navigate the mortgage process. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about providing exceptional service to customers. As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that satisfy customer needs through a comprehensive array of mortgage products and services. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless flow of business by using your judgment and discretion in coordinating various aspects of the loan process. Effective communication is key in this role, as you will act as a liaison between customers and the company's internal departments. You will need to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to ensure that all parties are informed and aligned throughout the mortgage process. The position requires the use of various office equipment, including computers, copiers, and fax machines, and involves sitting and standing for extended periods. A significant portion of your working hours—more than 50%—will be spent outside of the office, meeting with customers and potential clients to discuss their residential mortgage financing needs. This role is not just about processing loans; it’s about building relationships and providing guidance to clients as they make important financial decisions. In addition to verifying and compiling application information, you will discuss and advise clients on their home loan options, review loan applications for completeness, and inform your supervisor of any discrepancies in title or survey. You will also be expected to perform other related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team and the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to satisfy customer needs through a full array of mortgage products and services.
  • Ensure uninterrupted flow of business using judgment and discretion.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers, acting as a liaison between customers and internal departments.
  • Verify, compile, and input application information for mortgage loans.
  • Discuss and advise clients on their home loan options.
  • Review residential loan application files for completeness and compliance with standards.
  • Inform supervisor of discrepancies in title or survey.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current, valid NMLS license or appointment in good standing.
  • Must have applicable state licensing.
  • Two to five years of experience preferred.
  • Actively funding more than 2 loans/month, or completion of Xinnix Training for Loan Origination, or have an Origination mentor assigned who funds more than 2 loans/month.
