About the position

Paramount Residential Mortgage Group (PRMG) is seeking a Loan Officer who is dedicated to helping clients navigate the mortgage process. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about providing exceptional service to customers. As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to meet customer needs through a comprehensive range of mortgage products and services. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless flow of business by effectively coordinating with various internal departments and maintaining clear communication with clients. In this role, you will spend a significant portion of your time outside of the office, meeting with clients and potential customers to discuss their residential mortgage financing options. You will verify and compile application information, review loan applications for completeness, and ensure that all data meets the established standards. Your ability to identify discrepancies in title or survey will be essential, as will your capacity to perform other related duties as assigned. To succeed in this position, you must possess a current, valid NMLS license and have applicable state licensing. Ideally, you will have two to five years of experience in the mortgage industry, with a proven track record of funding more than two loans per month or completion of Xinnix Training for Loan Origination. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent judgment in resolving service and credit decisions, as well as the ability to problem-solve independently while maintaining confidentiality and prioritizing your workload effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to satisfy customer needs through a full array of mortgage products and services.
  • Ensure uninterrupted flow of business through effective coordination and communication.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and the company's internal departments to ensure cohesive business flow.
  • Verify, compile, and input application information for mortgage loans.
  • Discuss and advise clients on their home loan options.
  • Review residential loan application files to verify completeness and compliance with establishment standards.
  • Identify and inform supervisors of discrepancies in title or survey.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current, valid NMLS license or appointment in good standing.
  • Applicable state licensing is required.
  • Two to five years of experience in the mortgage industry is preferred.
  • Must actively fund more than 2 loans per month, complete Xinnix Training for Loan Origination, or have an origination mentor assigned who funds more than 2 loans per month.
