The role also includes managing investor loan reporting and billing, addressing general loan servicing duties, and dealing with bankruptcy issues. A high level of customer service is expected, as the specialist will interact with both internal and external customers, ensuring that their needs are met and any issues are reported to the appropriate bank personnel. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and communication, as the specialist will need to send notifications, report progress on various tasks, and maintain updated lists of collection items and quotas. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • General knowledge of various loan documentation, banking, bankruptcy or insurance servicing
  • Ability to handle complex and difficult customer problems
  • Develop customer relationships
  • Apply bank's policies and procedures and other guidelines
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word
  • Basic keyboarding and calculator skills
  • Ability to perform simple math and carry out written instructions
  • Ability to work occasionally more than 40 hours per week to perform essential functions of the position
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs in an office setting
