The position is responsible for maintaining a complete and accurate accounting history on all notes, ensuring that all records are meticulously kept and updated. This role requires a hands-on approach to accountability for all notes held in a secured area, which is critical for the integrity of the banking operations. The individual in this role will frequently interact with various stakeholders, including customers, lending staff, other Holding Company Banks, loan assistants, and other banks, primarily through phone communication. This interaction is essential for ensuring that all parties are informed and that any issues are promptly addressed. In addition to maintaining records, the position involves accepting and processing note payments, as well as handling new and renewed notes. This includes data input into the system for multiple banks, which requires a high level of accuracy and efficiency. The individual will also be responsible for accurately inputting new loans into the bank's core loan system, which is a critical function that supports the overall lending process. Effective communication is a key component of this role, as the individual will need to interact with customers both in person and over the phone. Assisting lending staff and backroom departments with loan-related questions is also part of the job, necessitating a solid understanding of the bank's loan systems. The individual must become familiar with these systems to recognize and address any potential problems that may arise. Moreover, the position requires active participation in the Customer Service First sales and service culture, supporting the organization's values and adhering to established company policies and procedures.
