About the position

The position involves supporting the loan processing function by performing various administrative tasks, coordinating work within the department and with other departments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The role requires effective communication and analytical skills to manage consumer and commercial loans efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage a constant pipeline of consumer and basic commercial loans, clearing the queue and reporting inconsistencies.
• Originate consumer loan settlement packages, ensuring all legal documents comply with company policy and regulations.
• Utilize e-sign software to create and modify loan packages for electronic signing and delivery.
• Interface loan data from the platform system to the company's host system.
• Add customers to the company's core system and research existing customer and loan information.
• Provide loan support to lenders and staff, answering questions related to policy, procedure, and software.
• Coordinate work tasks with other personnel to ensure smooth information flow.
• Report pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested.
• Respond to inquiries from company personnel and customers within established time frames.
• Assist the immediate supervisor with administrative tasks and special projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of six months of data entry or related administrative experience.
• Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills.
• Effective interpersonal relations and communication skills.
• Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Proficient analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate's degree in finance or related field.
