About the position

The Loan Processor and Quality Assurance II role at City National Bank involves providing loan documentation and compliance support throughout the loan processing and boarding phases. The position ensures that all loan processing packages comply with company policies and state/federal regulations, acting as a liaison between various teams to ensure proper loan documentation and processing.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review necessary loan information to prepare appropriate loan documents.
• Communicate with title officers to resolve title issues and ensure proper loan recording and funding.
• Monitor loan funding dates and maintain an accurate loan checklist database.
• Act as a liaison to other departments to resolve questions regarding processing packages.
• Prepare loan funding packages with appropriate GL offsets and index loan documents for scanning.
• Maintain knowledge of real estate loan documentation and related legislation.
• Manage credit file and documentation file preparation for post-loan closing compliance review.
• Work closely with the compliance team to ensure adherence to policies and workflows.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of loan processing experience in a financial institution.
• Minimum 2 years of basic computer experience (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Access and SharePoint.
