Responsibilities

• Thoroughly review and analyze loan applications for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, loan officers, and other stakeholders to gather all necessary documentation for loan approval.
• Verify applicant financial information, employment details, credit reports, and property valuations to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain open and effective communication with clients, providing updates on the status of their loan applications and addressing any inquiries.
• Prepare complete and organized loan files for underwriting review, ensuring all required documents are included.
• Ensure all loan processing activities adhere to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Work closely with all parties involved to facilitate a timely and smooth closing process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications related to mortgage lending a plus.
• 3 years of experience in loan processing within the mortgage lending industry.
• Proficiency in Encompass software is required.
• Proficiency in loan origination systems and processing software.
• Proven experience in broker loan registration.
• Strong understanding of underwriting guidelines and industry regulations.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
