Responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate credit history to determine creditworthiness of applicant businesses and their owners.
• Process business loans, complex residential loans, and economic injury loans.
• Make credit recommendations to assist disaster victims while protecting government interests.
• Evaluate collateral considering property type, lien position, and available equity.
• Notify applicants in writing of necessary information to proceed with loan processing.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government travel credit card.
• Favorable background investigation and credit check are required.
• Completion of a one-year trial period may be required.
• Education in finance, business administration, economics, accounting, or related fields is preferred.
• Specialized experience in agricultural, commercial, or other types of loans is required.
