The Lobby Attendant/Cleaner position at the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel is a vital role responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and service standards of all public areas during the overnight shift. This includes ensuring that the hotel lobbies, public restrooms, executive offices, and other common areas are kept in pristine condition in accordance with the Omni Standards. The position requires a friendly and motivated individual who is passionate about serving others and can thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and associates alike, contributing to the hotel's reputation for exceptional service. As a Lobby Attendant/Cleaner, you will be tasked with servicing the hotel lobbies throughout the overnight shift, ensuring that all public restrooms in the lobby, lower lobby, and pool areas are clean and well-maintained. You will also be responsible for the cleanliness of the executive offices, men's and ladies' associate locker rooms, and the lobby and lower lobby pre-function spaces. Maintaining the neatness of lobby balconies, the main guest entrance, floral arrangements, and ash urns throughout the property is also part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will ensure that water fountains and phone stations are kept clean and that guest and associate elevators are serviced appropriately. The position requires a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for both hotel guests and associates. You will also be expected to complete any special projects assigned by management and report any maintenance issues or concerns that arise during your shift. This role is crucial in upholding the hotel's high standards and ensuring a pleasant experience for all visitors.

Responsibilities

  • To ensure that the hotel lobbies are serviced throughout the overnight shift.
  • To service all public restrooms in lobby, lower lobby, and pool areas.
  • To service the executive offices.
  • Services both men's and ladies associate locker rooms.
  • To service lobby and lower lobby pre-function space.
  • Keep lobby balconies neat and clean at all times.
  • Ensure main guest entrance is neat and clean at all times.
  • Ensure all floral arrangements and plants are neat with no debris in the planters.
  • Ensure all ash urns throughout property are neat and clean at all times.
  • Ensure water fountain and phone stations are maintained neat and clean at all times.
  • To service guest and associate elevators.
  • To ensure that hotel, guest and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment.
  • Complete any special projects that might be assigned.
  • Report any maintenance issues or any concerns.

Requirements

  • Able to maintain a 4-diamond level of service.
  • Able to work with Management on special projects.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Must be able to work overnights, including weekends and holidays.
  • Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
  • Requires repetitive motion.
