About the position

The Lobby Attendant/Houseman at South Charleston Hotel is responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment in the front lobby and public areas of the hotel. This role involves ensuring safety and cleanliness, responding to guest needs, and performing various cleaning tasks to enhance the guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the entire front lobby is clean and presentable for guests.
• Immediately respond to and correct any potential safety conditions such as wet floors.
• Clean the pool area and restrooms.
• Clean all public restrooms and stock necessary items.
• Empty trash from all offices, including Sales, Executive, and Front offices.
• Clean, dust, mop, vacuum, and polish the lobby area, including ashtrays, furniture, house phones, wall fixtures, plants, vending machines, glass, and windows.
• Greet guests in a courteous fashion.
