About the position

The Local Ad Sales Account Executive / Outside Sales Representative at Optimum Media is responsible for driving advertising sales through a consultative approach, engaging with local businesses to understand their needs and providing tailored advertising solutions. This role requires a self-motivated individual who is tech-savvy and client-focused, with the potential for uncapped earnings based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with local businesses' key decision makers to determine their advertising needs.
  • Develop advertising solutions using a suite of media and online solutions.
  • Manage all aspects of client accounts from proposal to production to campaign activation and collections.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred
  • 2+ years of successful media sales or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong sales funnel
  • Proven track record of closing sales
  • Strong prospecting and cold calling skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Intermediate computer proficiency, particularly in PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Achieving and consistently exceeding monthly sales goals
  • Time and process management skills with the ability to work independently
  • Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and auto insurance
