About the position

As a Local Brand Ambassador at Go Ape, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our events and enhancing the visibility of the Go Ape brand within the community. This position is not just about social media; it’s about creating memorable experiences that resonate with our guests. You will be responsible for attending local marketing events, collaborating with various partners, and ensuring that every interaction reflects the Go Ape ethos. Your efforts will directly contribute to increasing guest visitation and brand awareness in the local area. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the marketing department to research and identify local events that align with our brand values. You will set up and dismantle event equipment, ensuring that everything is in line with our marketing specifications. A deep understanding of local activities will be essential, as you will need to effectively showcase our courses and engage with potential guests. You will embody the Go Ape brand, prioritizing guest satisfaction and creating a WOW experience in every interaction. Your responsibilities will also include boosting our social media presence, particularly on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, as well as increasing our email subscriber base through impactful local events. You will craft social media content that aligns with the goals set by your manager and the marketing team. Additionally, you will distribute brochures to local businesses to enhance regional awareness and ensure that promotional materials are always available at locations carrying Go Ape literature. Identifying and partnering with new businesses will be a key part of your role, as you work to drive community exposure and participation. Building positive relationships with local businesses will enable co-branded events and marketing opportunities, further supporting our marketing and sales initiatives. You will also conduct local market research to identify potential partners, groups, or sales leads, and regularly report project updates to your site manager, marketing liaison, and/or sales representative. Flexibility is essential, as you may be required to perform other duties as requested.

Responsibilities

  • Support marketing and sales initiatives with a focus on brand awareness.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and local businesses.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in marketing, event planning, or brand promotion is preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and events.
