About the position
The Local CDL A Truck Driver position at The SYGMA Network involves safely and efficiently transporting products from the warehouse to various customers. The role emphasizes teamwork and customer service, with drivers expected to manage their routes effectively while adhering to safety and food handling protocols. Responsibilities
- Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and place in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed according to established company and governmental guidelines, including DOT logs and vehicle maintenance reports.
- Meet all food safety protocols according to established guidelines and maintain sanitary conditions in the tractor and trailer.
- Develop and establish good relationships with customers by providing excellent and courteous service with clear communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
