About The Position

Silvi Materials, a progressive, integrated manufacturer and supplier of concrete, is seeking Concrete Truck Drivers. This position offers the opportunity to work for an innovative concrete supplier and contribute to building the community. The role involves maintaining high standards of quality and safety while ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of concrete. Drivers will operate an 80,000 lbs ready-mix truck, perform pre and post-trip inspections, load and pour concrete, and maintain delivery records. Requirements

• Must possess a valid commercial driver's license CDL-A or CDL-B and have a valid DOT Medical Card.
• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Able to work a variable schedule with start times between 12am-9am.
• Requires calling in to the plant at 4/5pm daily.
• 1 year of preferred driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standard of quality and safety while ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of concrete.
• Operate an 80,000 lbs ready-mix truck in accordance with all federal and state regulations.
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT guidelines; document and request required repairs as needed.
• Load and pour concrete according to procedures involving the use of ladders, main chutes and extension chutes.
• Drive in and out of areas with heavy pedestrian and equipment traffic.
• Maintain delivery, truck and driving records in accordance with company policies, as well as federal and state regulations.
• Read delivery tickets and communicate with dispatch regarding all deliveries.
• Wash residual concrete and materials off and out of all areas of the truck and barrel.
