About the position

The Local Class A CDL Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe operation of company equipment and the timely, courteous delivery of products to our customers. This position is crucial in ensuring that our valued customers receive their products efficiently and safely. As the #1 beer distributor in the United States, we are committed to providing excellent service and are currently hiring for this role immediately. The position requires a full-time commitment, with shifts starting between 4:00 am and 6:00 am, Monday through Friday. Drivers will be home daily as the routes are local, allowing for a better work-life balance. Compensation for this role starts at $25 per hour during the training period, with the potential to earn between $65,000 and $80,000 annually once training is completed and the driver is assigned to a route. Benefits are available from day one, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with a 401K plan that includes employer matching. Paid holidays, vacation, and sick time are also part of the benefits package, and there are opportunities for career advancement after six months of employment. The primary duty of the CDL Class A Driver entails the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle and the courteous delivery of products. Drivers are responsible for unloading and delivering products to local customers and must conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of their equipment and vehicle. Additionally, this role requires the secure operation of Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE), such as electric pallet jacks and hand trucks. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle and company equipment.
  • Timely and courteous delivery of products to customers.
  • Unload and deliver products to local customers.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle.
  • Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as electric pallet jacks and hand trucks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent military driving experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • Ability to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds regularly and up to 170 pounds.
