About the position
Allied 24/7 is seeking a local contract Ultrasound Technologist for an 11-week assignment in New York, NY. This role involves working 40 hours per week on a 4x10 days shift, starting on 10/30/2024. Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations as per physician's orders.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of patient examinations and results.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards in the performance of ultrasound procedures.
Requirements
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or ARDMS license.
- Licensed technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Vaccinated for Influenza and COVID-19 based on local, state, and/or federal regulations.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a clinical setting as an Ultrasound Technologist.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
