About the position
The Local Coordinator for J1 High School Exchange at International Cultural Exchange Services (ICES) is a part-time, contract role focused on leading and empowering a local team to create transformative experiences for high school students worldwide. This position involves managing a team, ensuring quality standards, and collaborating with the Regional Manager to place exchange students for the upcoming school year.
Responsibilities
- Help build, manage, support, and mentor a local team.
- Keep team members on track with company deadlines and goals.
- Ensure all work is done in line with quality standards.
- Assist in implementing policy.
- Collaborate with the Regional Manager.
- Place 20-30 exchange students for the 2025 school year.
Requirements
- Minimum two years' experience in international youth exchange.
- Managerial experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
