About the position

The Local Coordinator for STS Foundation is a part-time, voluntary role focused on fostering cultural exchange by recruiting and supporting host families for high school exchange students. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about youth engagement and community involvement, providing an opportunity to create meaningful international connections while working flexibly from home.

Responsibilities

• Support and recruit volunteer host families to host exchange students.
• Promote the STS Foundation in the community through various marketing efforts.
• Mentor and advocate for exchange students, ensuring their well-being and integration.
• Collaborate with school administrators to facilitate the exchange program.
• Utilize social media, email marketing, and public service announcements for recruitment efforts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Driver's License required.
• Experience working with youth is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate's degree preferred.
• Experience in counseling, teaching, or social work is a plus.
