About the position
We are seeking a dedicated Local Truck Driver with a CDL Class A license to join our team in Walled Lake. The position involves driving local routes and making round trips to nearby states, with a consistent weekly schedule. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Responsibilities
- Drive local routes and make round trips to Ohio, Indiana, or Illinois.
- Complete assigned deliveries and pickups according to the schedule.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of loads.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management.
Requirements
- CDL Class A license.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to start early in the morning for pickups.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with local routes in Michigan and surrounding states.
