About the position
The Local Driver position at South Shore Roofing LLC is essential for supporting the company's operations by driving management and assisting with various tasks both in the office and in the field. This role is flexible, allowing for one-day or multiple-day commitments, and involves a variety of on-demand tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Drive the owner to job sites 3+ times a week.
- Unload and load materials into a company trailer.
- Deliver supplies such as nails and wood to job sites.
- Take photos of completed work for documentation.
- Drive company trucks to the car wash and for service.
- Assist with inventory counting and organization.
- Help with minor repairs and maintenance tasks around the office.
- Complete various errands such as picking up lunch for the sales team.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to parallel park cars
- Experience backing in company trailers into driveways
- Manual labor and/or construction experience
