About the position
The Local Hire (Geospatial and Data Analytics Cell Analyst) position at FEMA is designed to support disaster response and recovery efforts in Georgia. Responsibilities
- Implement and advise on recovery geospatial and data issues within disaster recovery operations.
- Provide maps and data products using ESRI products, Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, Python, R, and SQL.
- Coordinate GIS and data activities and requests for internal and external partners.
Requirements
- Experience providing geospatial data analysis for pre-disaster conditions, disaster impacts, and post-disaster recovery.
- Understanding of geographic terms and map projections.
- Utilization of GIS technology to solve analytical problems related to community recovery.
